Day1: Warm Greeting Warmest greeting from tour guide or driver at the airport as you will meet us with friendly smile of warm welcome then taken to your hotel, You have own free time for afternoon relaxing in the garden or in the swimming pool at your hotel Or you discuss with tour guide for other activities such as Apsara dinner show, Cambodia Circus, Kick boxing and Traditional massage. Day2: Angkor tours, By 8:45am, A guide & driver will pick you up from your hotel and Taking tour of Angkor park. Tour itinerary of visit as the following:
1-The ancient city of Angkor Thom: will be bringing you and go through the south gate of this city, short stop to look at the unique towers with four faces of Buddhisattva and taking photo of it and listening to tour guide explanation the meaning of those smiling faces of stone carving.
2-Bayon temple: In a huge area of Angkor Thom you will see the main temple in the center of the city, it is a beautiful temple of Bayon which has charming smile of stone faces carving. There are 54 towers with four faces each that you be surprisingly when you are taking a look at them. The temple of Bayon was built by very famous Buddhist king Jayavarman 7 (1181) in the end of 12 century.
3-The terrace of the elephant: it is located directly in front of the east gopura of the Royal Palace enclosure wall and in an area of Angkor Thom city as well. The terrace extends over 300 metres in length, and one of the main attractions of this terrace is the decorated with elephant and their riders depicted in profile.
4-Ta Prohm temple: (Known as a Jungle/Tomb Raider) Shrouded in jungle,the temple of Ta Prohm is ethereal in aspect and conjures a romantic aura. Fig and banyan trees twist and spread their gigantic roots over, under and in between the stones, their branches and leaves intertwine to form a roof above the structures. Ta Prohm temple also was built by a famous Buddhist king Jayavarman VII (1186) in the end of 12 century. Break time for having lunch at the local restaurant, Afternoon tour start time 14:00pm, taking you to the beautiful temple of Angkor Wat.
5-Angkor Wat temple: Angkor Wat is a largest monument of the Angkor group, is an architectural masterpiece. The bas-relief and sculpture make it one of the finest monument in the world. This temple is an expression of Khmer art at its highest point of development. The temple was built by Hindu king Suryavarman II (1113) at the first half of the 12th century. At the end of tour you can discuss with me where you would like to be, relax and enjoy a memorable end of your day at the temples. Driver will meet you at your hotel for your private transfer to airport or bus station that you will arrive in time for your onward journey. I wish you the best and have a safe trip..!
